OSONS,
I found that running the "Heroes Unleashed" mod causes temporary changes in the colour of the Rets.
The old way of changing your Ret colour was to alter your C:\Program Files\Red Storm Entertainment\Ghost Recon\options.xml file. The defaults appear to be as follows:
<ReticuleColorR>255</ReticuleColorR>
<ReticuleColorG>214</ReticuleColorG>
<ReticuleColorB>17</ReticuleColorB>
<ReticuleIFFColorR>160</ReticuleIFFColorR>
<ReticuleIFFColorG>200</ReticuleIFFColorG>
<ReticuleIFFColorB>255</ReticuleIFFColorB>
The first set of 3 values is your Ret colour settings, and the second set are your Ret colours when you are pointing at a Friendly, and the colour of their names if you are using Max IFF Names or Max IFF Reticule.
Changing the first set of three values to...
<ReticuleColorR>255</ReticuleColorR>
<ReticuleColorG>0</ReticuleColorG>
<ReticuleColorB>0</ReticuleColorB>
Gave me red rets.
I've discussed this with DK 5.5 and we are in agreement that the alteration of these RET colour values is officially recognised by RC as acceptable.
You don't need to be colourblind to make this kind of modification.
Cheers - Wab. _________________

IMO, if there is enough information so anyone knows how to, for example, change rets color, it should not be considered somehow of cheating. I think same can be applied to Command Maps
